Western Motor Coach maintains one of the largest rental fleets in the Northwest, offering Class A and Class C motor homes. We welcome International and Inter-State Visitors to the beautiful Seattle area and look forward to helping make your stay a fantastic one. We offer long-term rentals for those who are remodeling, building a new home, hosting extended-stay guests, or who have had to vacate their home because of flood or fire.

Our rental department also has several production RVs designed for on-site office or changing-room use by film crews in the Pacific Northwest. Celebrities such as Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Drew Barrymore, Kevin Costner, and Sylvester Stallone have enjoyed the use of our motor homes during the filming of their movies. Whether you need the RV for a day, or need a long-term rental with cell phone, cell fax and chauffeur, we are here to provide you with the RV you need.

Western Motorcoach Rental Terms

Prep. Sanitation Fee A fee of $99 for travel trailers, $149 for Class C motorhomes, and $199 for Class A motorhomes is charged on all RV rentals and includes one week's supply of toilet chemicals and TP, a full tank of propane, full tank of fresh water, special sanitized carpet runners when applicable, customized trip planning, campground guides, maps and a complete walk-through orientation of the RV upon pick-up.

Reservation and Damage Deposits
At the time of booking, pre-payment of $500 (or upon pick up) is required for class C and $1,000 for class A, which is applied toward your rental charges. A damage deposit of $1,000 in total (this includes the $500.00) is required on the day of departure along with any rental charges still due. The damage deposit will be refundable within 10 business days of rental drop-off if the RV is returned undamaged and there are no outstanding charges. In the case that the renter does not have a major credit card or the RV will be taken to Alaska, then the minimum damage deposit will be $1,500. If VIP option package is not purchased, then the damage deposit will be $2,500.

Mileage Policy During the Winter (10/1-5/15), Spring (5/16-6/30) and Fall (9/9-9/30) you got 100 FREE miles a day, averaged. During the Summer (7/1-9/8), you get 50 FREE miles a day, averaged. Any mileage traveled above 100 averaged miles per day during the Winter, Spring and Fall, and 50 averaged miles a day during the summer, will be considered additional mileage and will be billed for the respective mileage rates listed in our price sheets. Any mileage traveled above 200 miles per day average will be considered excess mileage and will incur an additional mileage surcharge $0.50 per mile in addition to the additional mileage rate.

Payment Policy
Prior to departure renter must pay for entire rental, including estimated mileage, damage deposit and sales tax. Charges are payable by cash, cashier's check, or major credit card. Personal checks will only be accepted 14 days prior of departure.

Cancellation Policy We understand that plans change, so if there is a need for you to cancel your reservation at any time before departure, we can hold your pre-paid deposit for up to one calendar year so that you are able to re-schedule your vacation for another time taht works better for you.

Pick-up and Drop-off Policy Pick-up time is between 2pm & 5pm the day of departure. Drop-off time is between 9am & 11am the day of return. Early pick-up or late drop-off may be allowed at a nominal fee of $50 in the case that the designated RV is available for early pick-up or late drop-off and that suck arrangements have been pre-approved by a rental manager.

Travel Area Restrictions Travel to Mexico is prohibited at all times unless special arrangements have been made and approved with a rental manager. Travel to desert areas during summer months of June, July and August is prohibited due to overheating of the unit which may result in product damage and mechanical failure, for which the renter will be held responsible. The renter is responsible for all damages due to neglect or misuse including damage caused by overheating A $2,500 non-refundable cleaning charge will be assessed on all rentals going to Burning Man.

Reservation Liability All recreational vehicles will be confirmed by size and category only. If reserved unit is not available for any reason at the time of departure, we may, at our sole election, substitute a similar unit or refund any rental fee or deposit that has been collected. This is the sole extent of our liability and but for this express limitation, we would not provide any reservation of a rental unit. Any RV rented for less than a one-week period is on an availability basis only and any reservation for such a unit is only an accommodation. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SUBSITUTE UNITS. ALL PRICE ARE QUOTED IN US DOLLARS AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

OLYMPICS 2010 POLICY
From February 12-28, 2010, all RVs will be charged regular summer rates, with a 1 week minimum rental period, and no refunds on cancellations.

INSURANCE INFORMATION

Our Vacation Interruption Plan, if purchased, will reduce your comp/collision responsibility to $1,000 per accident. If you opt not to take the VIP insurance, you will be responsible for the full amount of damage, per accident.

Vacation Interruption Plan (VIP) This plan is a smart way to minimize your financial burden in the event of an accident or mechanical breakdown. It is available for $18 per day ($72 minimum charge). The VIP option reduces your comprehensive and collision responsibility to $1,000 per accident. If the RV is not drivable during the rental for a period of more than 24 hours due to a mechanical breakdown, the VIP option will reimburse you $100 per day for lodging and/or transportation, up to a maximum of $1,000 per rental. It will additionally reimburse the renter for the paid daily rental rate.

RECOMMENDED PRE-PAID OPTIONS

Interior and Exterior Cleaning Package All RV's must be returned to drop-off location in clean condition. This includes the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the RV. If the RV is not returned in a clean condition then the renter will be charged a minimum fee of $300 to have the rental dealership complete the cleaning tasks. Clients may opt however to purchase a cleaning package at the time of departure for a pre-paid fee of $119. The $119 fee will cover standard cleaning tasks of vehicles returned in reasonable conditions. This is an optimal choice for those who do not have the facilities to wash an RV or who do not wish to inconvenience themselves at the end of a memorable vacation.

Dumping and Flushing of Holding Tanks All RV's must be returned with holding tanks dumped, flushed and cleaned. If RV is returned otherwise, then the renter will be charged a fee of $99 to have the rental dealership complete the tasks. You, however, may opt to purchase the dump and flush package at the time of departure for a pre-paid cost of $49. This is an optimal choice for those who do not have the facilities to dump and flush the holding tanks.

Combined Cleaning / Dumping Package This comprehensive cleaning package is a combination of our Interior/Exterior Cleaning Package and Dump/Flush of Holding Tanks and can be purchased at a pre-paid savings cost of $159. Have fun and end your trip hassle-free!

RENTAL ACCESORIES

Generator Use Generator usage is $4 per hour or $6 per day pre-paid, for a maximum total use of 6 hours per day.

Housekeeping Kits Housekeeping Kits include a new sheet, blanket, pillow and case, towel and wash cloth. All items are brand new and may be kept by you. This package is ideal for those who do not have separate sets of bath and bed accessories for recreational purposes and do not wish to take on a trip their proper sets from home. This option runs for $58.95 per person.

Recycled Housekeeping Kits Recycled Housekeeping Kits are identical to Housekeeping Kits in that they include a sheet, blanket, pillow and case, towel and wash cloth. However, they are used by previous clients; sheets, blankets, towels and pillow cases and wash cloths are washed, sanitized and packaged for re-use. Many of our clients do not mind that Housekeeping Kits have been used, thus this presents them with a more economical option. $44.95 per person.

Kitchen Kits Kitchen Kits include pots, pans, dishes, and silverware setting for six to eight people and toaster, and coffee pot. $35 per trip.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.

A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00
To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.

Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

The renter is responsible for comprehensive, collision and all damage to the vehicle. Our Vacation Interruption Plan (VIP), if purchased, will reduce your comp/collision responsibility to $1,000 for motorhome and $500 for travel trailers per accident.

It is available for $18 per day ($72 minimum charge) for motorhomes, and $15 per day ($60 minimum and $300 maximum) for travel trailers. The VIP option reduces your comprehensive and collision responsibility from unlimited responsibility to $1,000 per accident for motorhomes and $500 for travel trailers. If the RV is not driveable during the rental for a period of more than 24 hours due to a mechanical breakdown, the VIP option will reimburse you $100 per day for lodging and/or transportation, for up to a maximum of $1000 per rental. It will additionally reimburse the renter for the paid daily rental rate.
